National Museum of the Pacific War, Fredericksburg, TX. Museum dedicated to the history of Americans in WWII Pacific Theater.  Includes a research center, oral history archive and exhibits related to the Lost Battalion survivors. https://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/.

Thai-Burma Railway Centre, Kanchaburi, Thailand. A museum and research center dedicated the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway founded by noted historian Rod Beatty and operated with colleagues Andrew Snow and Terry Manttan whose father was on the HMS Perth, sunk in a battle with the USS Houston. www.tbrconline.com

Originally comprised of POW camp survivors (including those from the USS Houston) that met each year in August to commemorate the fallen and fortify their lifelong friendships. Descendants of the POW’s (Lost Battalion Association, Next Generation) carry on the tradition of the annual meeting.
